Saturday Talks

We are very pleased to have announce four fantastic talks in the 'Supper Room' in the County Building, on the Saturday of the Wigtown and Bladnoch Food Festival. All these talks are free, we just ask you to turn up at least ten minutes before the start but please don't be disappointed if the room is full.

12pm - Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere --  a short introduction.

1pm - Supporting Fairtrade, 'Does it have to be more than drinking coffee and eating chocolate' - The struggles and successes of a Fairtrade Village

2pm - Cream o' Galloway, 'Milking it' - the history of the Cream o' Galloway to the current crisis in the conventional dairy industry.

3pm - Angela Hurrel, 'Garrocher Market Garden - a change to Scotland's First Lowland Tea Garden"
